Credits

The font used for a films title and credits is as important as the actually making of the movie and therefore it should be well-made. We have decided that our font will look something as original and simple as this :

BrainStorm #1

This is a brainstorm of things that are related to teenagers and as you can see Ive clearly identified the most common things that are commonly related. Its a very simple well-made brainstorm that was done in microsoft word.

BrainStorm #3

here I have common names for nerds in either movies or real life that me and my group listed. We asked around people to vote and 'Norman' recieved most of the points, whilst 'Daniel' got second place and so we have an idea of the name of our protagonist.

BrainStorm #2

Teenagers

As you can see I have here for you again a clear brainstorm of things that relate to teenagers here. This is a second one that Ive done.

Film Analysis - Opening Scene #2

Opening movie : The Dark knight Rises

This Is the movie dark knight and its credits opening. The developer of this particular opening credits has used interesting transitions to make the viewers be more into the movie before it even starts. For instance, the transitions change everytime and cuts quickly to show the credits underneath. Also the developer of the opening credits also used creative ways to reveal the Bat logo, which in my opinion is better than opening titles

Plot - Slight Changes

Full Detailed

Other possible plots were made, however, I decided to scrap them as I develop it into a better one, unfortunatley I left those plots unrecorded so they are lost.

However, here is the non-final draft anyway cause you're awesome :D

Norman, an everyday example of a teenager who just cant fit in socially with everyone else, he gets bullied, and is disliked by teachers for laziness.

One day, he gets followed by a gang of bullies on the way home, he gets pulled into a park near his home that he always goes to, sitting on the bench alone to reflect in his isolation, and gets beaten up by the bullies and robs him of his belongings.

He walks to his bench again only to see a mysteriously dressed woman parasol sitting next to his spot in the "isolation bench" and gets asked how his day was.

After a brief conversation and introduction by the woman, he is told about three wishes she will grant him.

He wishes for the whole world to go away, this then gets granted and he wakes up in his bedroom with the alarm blaring.

He notices then that hes late for school, but wonders why this time his parents arent scolding him.

He wanders outside to see that the usually busy streets are empty and realizes that the strange conversation with the parasol lady wasnt a dream, and that it actually happened.

Months pass by and Norman enjoys looting sprees, enjoying latest consoles his parents couldnt afford before and other things such as the free food that he mindlessly devours.

After another month, Norman grows bored and increasingly realizes regret of further isolation.

He spends a week staying a the isolation bench reflecting about his loneliness whilst waiting for the parasol lady to appear next to him at the same time.

Finally, at his birthday, he takes a gun and contemplates suicide, that is briefly interrupted by the doorbell.

He looks through the peephole to see that it is the parasol lady...

Title Of Films

Film Scene: 28 Days Later

To begin with, everybody must be thinking "why post a horror movie" well, its simply because theres one specific scene that will be relevant to my movie which is where the character roams the empty streets whilst being all alone there.

I am really hoping to include something like this or related to this in my movie, since I'm planning on making, the main character of my movie, have a personality full of loneliness which makes this scene very suitable.

Film: Six Shooter

This movie as you may see is both a non-fantasy and a drama film. So I believe that it would be useful since I want to make a fantasy/drama movie.
The ending scene of this film would be alot similar to ours too, however, I think (spoiler warning) killing off my character would set in more dramatically, along with a twist.

Film Scene : Big

The main character of this film is alot similar to our protagonist and this particular scene gives quite a clear idea of what our main character would be like and so its a suitable scene.

It straight away starts of when he is dismissed from the girl he likes in school. The main character shows that he doesnt believe his wish might come true, but out of the strong hope of it coming true, he still continues, despite the fact that things seem unusual, especially when he finds out that this machine started properly working without a plug.

Research

Drama film is a genre that relies on the emotional and relational development of realistic characters. While Drama film relies heavily on this kind of development, dramatic themes play a large role in the plot as well. Often, these dramatic themes are taken from intense, real life issues. Whether heroes or heroines are facing a conflict from the outside or a conflict within themselves, Drama film aims to tell an honest story of human struggles.

However, Tragedy Drama is a genre wherein the downfall of the character is caused by a flaw within the character. While Tragedy Dramas sometime put the character in extraordinary circumstances, this genre is really about the self-destructive behavior of the character. The flaws of the character come to a head and ultimately result in death or other form of degradation

My film is more fantasy-type but its part drama too which ,I personally think, would be a good combination of genres.

Drama Film Examples:

The Shawshank Redemption - A former banker convicted of murdering his wife develops a lifelong friendship with a fellow prisoner, and ultimately tries to defy the odds by keeping hope alive inside prison walls.

The Godfather - The aging patriarch of an organized crime circle must secure the future of his family’s empire by leaving it in the hands of his reluctant son.

Casablanca - A jaded nightclub owner must choose whether or not to help his ex-lover and her husband flee Nazi-occupied Morocco.
